WHO WE ARE:

We are one of several Career Learning Centers located throughout the state. Our purpose is to provide employment training services that meet the needs of employers and job seekers in the region. While our focus territory consists of Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Clay, Hutchinson, Union, and Yankton counties, our scope of work reaches far beyond into Northeast Nebraska and Northwest Iowa.

Although we are not a state agency, we are closely aligned with the South Dakota Department of Labor & Regulation and the local offices. As a recognized non-profit entity, we are governed by a board comprised of local, private-industry employers.

WHAT WE DO:

We work cooperatively with the employment community to understand their training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. We identify unemployed and underemployed individuals who have barriers to employment and deliver appropriate services to provide the opportunity for meaningful, lasting employment.
